I know I already posted about this earlier but I am posting it again. Today is Mickey’s 22nd birthday and she has been missing since May 19th. Mickey was riding home on her bicycle and never made it to her destination. She even missed her brother’s high school graduation which is completely unlike her. If you are reading this, I ask you to please reblog and spread the word. Any information helps so if you see something or know something SAY SOMETHING. The smallest bit of info can go a long way.
The Lafayette Police department has set up a TIPS hotline regarding any information on her disappearance and I have linked it if you click on the picture above. There is also an on-going Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/359507344113948/) that is updated religiously with any new info. I think tomorrow there will be a candlelight vigil at at around 7:30 so if you can make it out there please come. I personally know Mickey & her family and her disappearance has left an entire community in shambles. Mickey is such a sweet and kind person and we need her back home.

Lafayette Police and a local family need your help finding a missing woman. 21 year old Mickey Shunick (pictured) was last seen early Saturday morning riding a black and gold bike from a friends home in the Saint Streets area of Lafayette. She was headed back home near Ambassador and Congress, but never made it home and hasn’t been seen since.

She is described as about 5’1”, small frame, and about 115 lbs. Mickey was last seen wearing a pastel multicolored striped shirt, light wash skinny jeans, and grey shoes. She had a brown leather backpack purse with her.

Anyone with information on where she maybe be is asked to call Lafayette Police at (337) 291-8600 or her mom Nancy at (337) 277-2751.

Mickey’s friends have organized a search party for tomorrow morning (5-20) at 10:30 am starting at 100 ryan st.
